This is Mickey and Snowball, best friends. I love owning a black cat, it is awesome that you rescued one.

I had to play the waiting game as well with my ST.

It ended up coming a month after it's ETA date.

They know for sure it's on the truck, and it's just a matter of when the truck pulls in. It was scheduled for yesterday.

I wish you the best of luck, but they gave me that exact same line.

Focus or fiesta?

Vader wasn't eating and was going to die. The shelter lady put him with Yoda's litter, and he started eating. They became buddies - how could we not take both?

You have to, they are friends for life. We rescued Mickey first, he was one of two that lived in a litter of 5. His brother was adopted 3 weeks before we got there and Mickey came down with a cold and was still in medical hold. I feel instantly for the guy because he reached out to tap me when I stopped by his cage. For Snowball my wife saw her a couple months later at Pet Smart. We were thinking of another car because Mickey seemed lonely, my wife loved her from first sight.

These two are from the NY Feral Cat Program - volunteers scour construction sites, abandoned buildings, and similar for moms and their litters. Yoda had a sister that didn't make it, broke the shelter mom's heart. Vader, on the other hand, had the shelter name "Muffin." How is he going to rule the galaxy with a name like that? Yoda was named because early on his ears stuck out sideways.

That is a great program. As for the name, you made the right call, Mickey was Marky Mark. I refuse to let there be any sort of funky anything in my house so the name had to change. As for Snowball that was her name from birth, it fits, but I wanted to name her Meowy Maui because she talks so much.

My girlfriend's late cat was Mickey - after the mouse. This is Lili - I had her for 16 years and the GF knew her for 9 years. She lived to 18 - half Russian Blue, and always angry. Bladder tumor - she was a great cat.

This is Hammer. He loves our daughter Emma so much, that he tries to sneak into her room at bedtime, so he can be with her all night (and by doing so, he locks himself away from food, water, and the liter-box for 12 hours). Sometimes he succeeds.
